The 86th Academy Awards will be broadcast live on March 2. You can get the full list of nominations, like Best Sound Mixing or whatever, here, but please note that The Lone Ranger was nominated for a technical award, which basically discredits the whole lot. Notable snubs include Oprah (The Butler) and Tom Hanks (Captain Phillips). What do you think – who or what else was snubbed? Are you excited for Ellen as host? Are you excited for Leo’s first Oscar nomination? Do you think he’s celebrating with hookers and coke? I do.
