Blind Auditions On The Voice Come To An End – Who Stood Out?

The Blind Auditions of The Voice have finally come to an end. At the start of the night, each team had only one spot left, so it wasn’t really an hour of interesting battles from the coaches. One thing I will say, though, is that if Shakira comes back for another season, she shouldn’t let anyone try and “help” her. Every time one of the guys took her side, she lost the contestant to another team. Not very helpful at all. But in the end, everyone’s team filled up, giving them each 12 contestants to move into the battles.

The night started off with a few clunkers, but soon picked up with Kaleigh Glanton’s audition. She performed CCR’s “Have You Ever Seen The Rain?”  and her voice was really unique and pretty. She got all four chairs to turn and ultimately filled the last spot on Team Blake.

After that, it was kind of boring. Shakira picked up a country singer, Usher picked up a pop singer and Adam was last to fill his team with a white boy who sang King Floyd’s  “Groove Me.”  It was kind of weird. But next week should be more interesting when the coaches are joined by their mentors. Shakira will be working with Mrs. Blake Shelton herself, Miranda Lambert. Blake will have The Band Perry (side note: I hate The Band Perry), Usher will be joined by Jill Scott and Adam will be working with Aloe Blacc (side note: I had to look up Aloe Blacc).

Who are your favorites going into the battles? Not gonna lie: I’m still pretty psyched about Dawn and Hawkes. Which team do you think has the best performers? I think Team Adam really has the edge this year, but we’ll have to wait and see.
