Just when you thought you’d seen the last of The Bachelor‘s Juan Pablo Galavis…he’s baaaa-aack.
It looks like not everything “ees okay” for Juan Pablo and his girlfriend, Bachelor “winner” (cough, if you can call JP a prize) Nikki Ferrell. I guess having a total sham of a relationship where the guy refuses to even say that he loves you isn’t paradise. It’s pretty much the opposite. Ever since the show aired, Juan Pablo and Nikki have been together – in spirit. In reality, he’s still living in Miami and she’s home in Kansas City, Missouri. That kind of distance would be hard for any relationship, let alone one with the biggest dirtbag in Bachelor history. It’s no surprise that they’re headed to Couples Therapy.
Yes, it’s true: Nikki and Juan Pablo are going to appear on VH1’s Couples Therapy season 5. There are two scenarios here: they legitimately have problems to work through (well…) or they just want to be on television again. Um, I’m going to go with the latter theory. If you’re doomed to be tabloid fodder when you inevitably break up, you might as well milk it for all it’s worth while you have the chance. Or something. I mean, we’d all rather Juan Pablo crawl into a hole and never come out, but we don’t always get what we want.
The rumor is that Juan Pablo and Nikki are just waiting until JP’s contract with ABC runs out in August and then they will make the announcement official. As of now, VH1 is staying silent on the matter, only teasing about a “mystery couple,” who will join the rest of the cast – which includes porn legend Jenna Jameson and John Wood, plus Naughty by Nature’s Treach Criss and Cicely Evans.
Maybe Couples Therapy will help Juan Pablo dig a little deeper than his previous vow of commitment to Nikki: “I like you…a lot.”
