I think it’s safe to say that this is becoming a thing. Each episode of The Flash gets all the way to the end, and then in the final moments, Harrison Wells does something completely batsh*t. This week’s episode, “Things You Can’t Outrun” is no exception. While the better part of the episode gave us some much needed insight into Caitlin and Cisco, we did learn a few key things about my favorite mystery man.
On the night of the particle accelerator explosion, we see Harrison Wells make his way down to meet Cisco and Caitlin once the lab has been secured. He seems pretty calm as he makes a stop by his secret room, bringing up another vision on his weird future-showing machine. This time it’s not a newspaper, though – it’s Barry, getting struck by lightning. Wells smiles to himself and says, “See you soon, Barry.”
Did anyone notice that, right before they activated the particle accelerator, he said that he “feels like he’s waited for this day for centuries”? Just how far through time has Harrison Wells traveled?
